Two of the fourth grade classes went to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. Our guide’s name was Pam. It was a huge building. When we got inside the building I was amazed with what I saw. It was awesome. My chaperones were Mrs. McNelly and Mrs. Hastings. Our class went on the fieldtrip and Mrs. Bowden Gerard’s class went. We walked around most of the museum; there were lots of paintings and sculptures. There was a picture drawn by a famous artist named Pablo Picasso called: A Woman Seated In A Chair. I liked a cool bench like thing called: True Love’s Blue. There were two humans connected. The man that made the sculpture made the two humans him and his wife. There was a piece of wood between them. There was also a sculpture of Daniel Webster that was made of Bronze. It was pretty cool. I missed a little bit of the stuff Pam was showing us because I had to help my friend who’s in a wheelchair get around. We had to take the elevators when our group went into a different floor or part of the museum. There was a lot more cool stuff that we got to check out along the way.
